The baby must-haves series continues with an on the go and travel edition. This is probably the most important must-have list yet, because traveling and being out and about is a whole other ball game, especially for new parents. I know that I felt a ton of anxiety when I first took Charlotte out and about on my own when she was just a few weeks old, so having several of these items helped make it easier and ease some of my anxiety. Below I will explain why each item is a must-have and what I love about it. You may notice one thing missing- a travel crib. I am not overly impressed with our current pack n’ play, so I did not included it.

MAXI COSI CAR SEAT – This is the second infant carseat we purchased, because to be honest we despised our first one. I found this one on sale so we took the plunge and I love it! It has air protect technology which provides extra protection for side impact, plus it is super cushioned and seems to be extremely comfortable for Charlotte Lane.
WET BAG – I honestly did not think I needed one of these and boy was I wrong. Every time Charlotte has had a blowout in public, I use this to keep her dirty clothes in until I can get them home and in the wash.
BLACK OUT SHADE – We jut got this shade before Christmas and oh my gosh, it is amazing! It makes traveling with my picky sleeper so much easier. It suctions to any window and does a wonderful job blacking out any room. To top it off it comes in a handy little travel bag.
TRAVEL SOUND MACHINE – This is one of the most used items we have purchased for Charlotte. It helps napping on the go, whether it is in her stroller or in car so much easier. This is actually the second sound machine we have bought because our first one pooped out after a month. This was is still going strong and is rechargeable. Love it.
PACIFIER CLIP – This is not the exact paci clip we have, but who cares because this one is so darn cute! I wish I knew what my next babies name was going to be because I would order this one right now. We used our Paci clip every time we were out and about. It made it so easy to prevent Charlotte from tossing and loosing her Paci.
STROLLER FAN – This is so nice to have in the warm summer months when you are out and about with your baby. This fan is rechargeable, clips to almost anywhere, and blows at different levels.
CAR CAMERA – This is worth every penny. It allows you to see your baby’s every move in light and in dark. It suctions to my windshield and allows me to drive safely all while keeping an eye on Charlotte Lane. This is an ABSOLUTE MUST. Believe me, you will not regret this purchase, especially with a newborn.
DIAPER BAG – I have talked about my Honest diaper bag before. Again, this is the second diaper bag I have had. This one zips all the way down the side, making it super easy to find whatever you need, it is super spacious, has several convenient pockets including one for snacks, and comes in a chic black leather.
STROLLER CADY – Love having this on my stroller. It holds so many different items, including my phone, water bottle, my mothers drink, sunscreen, keys, sunglasses and so much more.
STROLLER – Yet again, this is the SECOND stroller we have purchased since Charlotte was born and this one is night and day better than our first. This stroller is so nice. It is lightweight, easily turns with one hand, can fit up to three kids, has a large under basket, the handlebar is adjustable, and the break is located up on the handle rather than at the feet.
STROLLER CLIP – This clip is so nice to have because you can literally hang anything from it. I use it to hold shopping bags, my purse, or my keys.
OXO TOT BIB – This is the best on the go bib. It wipes clean, catches food, and easily folds up for travel.
SNACK CATCHER – We use these all the time out and about- in the car, stroller, and shopping carts.
SHOPPING CART COVER – This cover is different than any other covers I have seen because it has structure and cushioning. It is perfect for smaller babies because it gives the the support they need and provides comfort. We use this in both shopping carts and highchairs.
