After sharing my AM skincare two weeks ago, I thought that it was only necessary that I share my PM skincare routine this week! In the evening I like to use retinol, oils, ultra hydrating ingredients, and a lip mask because there is no risk of sun damage and lots of time for products to soak in and work their magic. I have included all of my favorite products and information on how I use them below!
STEP ONE | MAKEUP REMOVING CLEANSER
Most of the time in the evening I have makeup or SPF on, so I like to double cleanse. I use this gentle cleanser loaded with amino acids to melt away any products on my face before going in for a second cleanse.
STEP TWO | HYDRATING CLEANSER
I use this hydrating cleanser as my second cleanse to remove all impurities and dirt from my face. I love this cleanser because it is gentle, packed with Vitamin C, E, and hyaluronic acid.
STEP THREE | PEPTIDE SMOOTHING SERUM
I apply this serum to only my biggest areas of concern. I concentrate it on my smile lines, crows feet, and forehead lines.
STEP FOUR | RETINOL
Retinol can tend to dry my skin out, so I use it every other night once my peptide serum has completely dried down. This product is definitely on the pricier side, but it has made by far more of a difference than other brands of retinol I have used in the past.
STEP FIVE | HYALURONIC ACID INTENSIFIER
This product really helps to keep my skin hydrated and adds a very nice plump. This is often referred to as “botox in a bottle”.
STEP SIX | MOISTURIZER
I am currently using my daytime moisturizer at night, but would like to invest in a moisturizer that is more hydrating and intense for the PM. I am thinking of giving this one a try (definitely a splurge).
STEP SEVEN | ILLUMINATING EYE CREAM
I have been using this eye cream for several months now and I really like it. It is very hydrating just like it states and truly does help with crows feet.
STEP EIGHT | FACE OIL
I bought this oil specifically for use with my Gua Sha, but turns out, I love to put it on in the evening for some extra hydration. In the past oils have broken me out, but this one has not done so once.
STEP NINE | LIP MASK
I am currently using the Tatcha lip mask, but just because I am not going to waste the product. After a couple of months using the Tatcha in the cold and dry Colorado winter, I have realized it just does not cut it. I am here to say the Laneige is much better! I used it all last winter and didn’t have a chapped lip once, plus it lasts forever- definitely worth the money.
