Since I started fresh yesterday with some new health and lifestyle goals, I wanted to share my updated workout essentials and schedule. I have been doing the same workout routine for over a year now, but my schedule has recently changed just a bit. I also still use all the items I had listed in my previous workout essentials post, but this one includes some items I forgot and some newbies.
BCAA’S | WAIST TRIMMER | DUMBBELL | SHORTS | LEGGINGS | TENNIS SHOES | JUMP ROPE | HEADPHONES | AEROBIC STEP | BLENDER BOTTLE | VEGAN PROTEIN POWDER
I have to admit that it did take me a bit to get used to drinking such a strong flavored drink while working out at first, but now I can’t live without them. This mango flavor is so good and BCAA’s are proven to help reduce fatigue, day after soreness, and help muscle growth.
I spoke all about the Sweet Sweat in this post. Read my complete review HERE.
I love the color of this dumbbell, but it is currently out of stock at the moment. If you click on the link, however you can sign up for an email notification for a restock. If you don’t want to wait, I also found some weights in stock here. Dumbbells are a necessity when working out, they can be used in so many different ways.
I have a few different variations of these shorts. The built in spandex not only add comfort but they keep everything modest.
These are my absolute favorite workout leggings. I do not even bother purchasing other brands any more because I know they will just disappoint. They hug the body perfectly and stay up during all types of workouts. This new pattern is so cute! Can’t wait to get my hands on them!
These tennis shoes are specifically designed for training and the gym. I personally suffer from aching feet and knee problems, so I need a very supportive shoe with a lot of structure. I have had zero issues with foot pain since wearing this specific trainer.
It is so hard to find a good jump rope that doesn’t get tangled up. This one is the best and is adjustable!
In my last post I raved about my Apple AirPods because they never used to fall out of my ears. They fall out all the time now, I am not sure what happened. I would love to upgrade Apple Pro AirPods.
I can’t complete a workout in the Sweat App without this step. It assists me in nearly every exercise and can also add a bit of a challenge to different moves.
I use this blender bottle everyday. It makes mixing up my protein shakes quick and easy.
I love this protein powder. It is vegan and taste delicious, however somewhat of an acquired taste. It took me a few ways to get used to the taste of a plant based powder.
WORKOUT SCHEDULE
As I have said several times before, I do the BBG program in the Sweat App and have been for over a year now. I love this workout program because it incorporates a lot of body weight exercises, gets my heart rate up, and takes less than 30 minutes to complete. Below I have listed the body part specific workouts I do broken down by the days of the week and have included some specifics in my regime.
Monday: Leg Day in the Sweat App
Tuesday: LISS- Low Intensity Stead State
I complete LISS by either walking on the treadmill in intervals for 40 minutes ( 1 minute walking at a speed of 3.2 and an incline of 10, alternated with 1 minute of walking at a speed of 3.8 and an incline of 5), by walking outside for an hour, or riding my stationary bike for 40 minutes.
Wednesday: Arm Day in the Sweat App
Thursday: LISS
Friday: A full body EMOM workout (Every Minute On the Minute). I either follow along with a workout I have found on Instagram or I simply pick 6 exercises and complete them every minute on the minute for 5 rounds.
I am also going to be incorporating 30 minute of LISS after my EMOM workouts starting this week.
Saturday: LISS
I hope this was helpful and would love to answer any questions you may have. If you are having trouble achieivng your healthy lifestyle goals right now, check out my tips to staying on track HERE.
